Annual Maintenance

Annual maintenance by a certified technician helps make the HVAC system run more efficiently, extend longevity and prevent costly repairs in the future. Additionally, annual maintenance improves indoor air quality while saving on energy and in turn lowering your energy bills.

During a visit, a technician will replace 1-inch filter for membership tune-ups and inspect filtration for all other levels of service. We will inspect and spray off AC coils and check the temperature differences of refrigerant, clear the drain to prevent water problems, and make sure the thermostat is set correctly. They will also inspect electrical parts, lubricate moving components, check the ductwork for leaks or blockages, and clear debris from the outdoor unit to keep airflow steady.

Preventive maintenance is basically the same as annual maintenance, and refers to aspects of the process in which a technician identifies and resolves issues that could eventually cause the HVAC system to fail in the future.

Tasks a homeowner can perform throughout the year to keep the HVAC system in good condition between visits are: replacing and cleaning filters regularly, ensuring indoor vents and outdoor units are clear of debris or blockages, inspecting drain lines, and checking your thermostat settings as well as overall performance throughout every season the year.
